NVIDIA has put out a press release because they are happy that a 6800Ultra SLI system snagged the top 3DMark 05 score. This is important right now to NVIDIA because most 3DMark 05 reviews are showing ATi’s top dog card out in front of NVIDIA’s lead mush dog in single card head to head testing (no SLI).

In benchmark tests performed by NVIDIA using 3dMark05, the NVIDIA® GeForce™ 6800 Ultra SLI™ achieved an industry high-score of 7229¹.
