Though I would pass this along to anyone that also has Nero's MediaPlayer installed.

Installed 5.5.10.0 yesterday and it trashed my registration info in Nero's MediaPlayer. When I attempted to use MediaPlayer, it wanted me to enter the serial no. for Nero Mix which I never had installed on my PC? Also tried my serial no. for MediaPlayer and it would not accept it. Lucky for me I had a backup copy of MediaPlayer and my installation CD.

My advice. Make sure you have a backup copy of MediaPlayer before you install 5.5.10.0.

More weird stuff with 5.5.10.0.

Ran both a CD quality check and scandisk using CD Speed two days ago. It told be I had a bad sector on one of my 10X CD-RW InCD formatted disks where I had backup data stored. It was strange in that scandisk stated the sector was damaged but readable. I never saw that before. I ran a restore verification on that same CD using my backup software and it stated all was fine. I was still apprehesive since I might have corrupted data in that one sector that the backup utility didn't identify.

Ran same tests on same CD today. Guess what? No errors indicated in either test.

Go figure?
