Just obtained the NEC 3500A and it seems like a decent drive... It's my first DVD burner. I wanted to know what software plays mice with it (other than Nero... I have that) for video... and off topic - Is anyone using a USB video capture device and can you provide feeback on them in general... I was looking at the low-end one from Plextor to convert some of my old HI-8/VHS movies of my kids.

Thanks.

SithTracy

I would suggest CopyToDVD especially with DL media. DVD Decrypter is a decend recording application too.

Hi I am considering this drive the NEC 3500A and was wondering if it would be good for what I want it for. I will mainly be using it for DVD movie backups and PS2 backups Is this a good choice or do you have a better suggestion??
