Herrie's patched version of NEC 2.16 firmware. Herrie has added Ritek DL support. Unfortunately, Herrie's site is down at the moment, but the file seems to be there, at least, the link worked for me.
As for DVD+RW bitsetting, it seems to work with brand new disks recorded for the first time.
At least, it finally worked for me after I've bought new TDK DVD+RW. It has the same media code that Philips I've tried before, but it worked.
