Hello,
I am finally upgrading from Win 95b to a new Windows XP Home computer. Will my Nero 5.048 work with XP? Will the Roxio software included with XP conflict with Nero? What is the best ASPI layer 4.6. or 4.7? Sorry to bother if these questions have been covered before. Thanks for any help.

With the ASPI layer I would stick with the 4.6, some people have reported problems with 4.7

Nero should work, but I would get that software upgraded. The upgrades are nice and more powerful. Also more stable. As far as Roxio, the one that came with your system it should be ok, but it is another reason to upgrade NERO, the newer versions of these two softwares seem to coexist better, and if Roxio came with XP that is probably new enough.
