The RPG with monsters, magic, and a World War I setting will be out by the end of the month...

Midway announced today that Shadow Hearts: Covenant has gone gold. Shadow Hearts: Covenant is rated "T" for Teen and will retail for the suggested price of $49.99 when it releases on September 27th. Those preordering the game will receive the first Shadow Hearts for free.

Shadow Hearts: Covenant takes place over a year after the original Shadow Hearts ended. The main character Yuri embarks on a expedition in a world filled with magic and strange creatures, set during World War I. Cursed by a secret cult that is taking advantage of the war to fulfill their evil ambitions, Yuri's morphing abilities are weakened. Yuri and his companions must journey to find a cure for his curse and defeat the malevolent cult. More info can be found here.
