Come on folks...it isnt THATTTT BADDDDDDDD

But is it really so expensive at Your place emperor? 50 Euro per month??? for lousy 384/124? (or was that 128 instead of 124

)... Just one more question...is that ADSL we are talking about? Because if I am honest...I dont know of such slow ADSL connection...here it starts with 1MBit/256Kbit...and goes all way up to 8Mbit/768Kbit (even higher upload speeds possible for professional users)....so really dont know...maybe some "older" ISP would offer 512 or so ADSL connections...but would really need to search hard to find some... But some Cable connections do start at 384...altough they also commonly start at 512...

Anyway...just to compare some prices recalculated in Euros (all prices are final with all taxes included)...
1024/384kbit 38Euro (29 Euro for students and schoolars)->-compared to cable 1024/256 > 40 Euro
2048/512kbit 46Euro (37 Euro for students and schoolars)->-compared to cable 2048/256 > 48 Euro
4096/768kbit 64Euro (48 Euro for students and schoolars)->-no such cable here-all higher that 2048 are for businesses only!
and finally...8mbit ADSL...but its only available for businesses and other "business users/owners"

(thats why its so higher when compared to others above...anyway...they say that it will soon be available for ordinary users also...so an estimated price should not be higher than some 85-90 Euro

8192/768kbit 117Euro (not available for "ordinary" users or students or schoolars

) ->- compared to cable (for businesses only) 4096/512kbit > 183 Euro
so thats it guys...as you can see...its cheaper and more affordable to have adsl than cable here...
and for emperor...never give up...your isp will offer you same speeds oneday...
