I recently picked up another spindle of cheap DVD+Rs from Computer Geeks, this was a 50 pc. pack of 4X DVD+Rs, I picked it up during a sale where it was $12.85, here's the KProbe results: click
Some stuff from SMARTBURN:
Disc MID = 41 4D 4C 00 00 00 00 00 (AML.....)
Disc TID = 30 30 31 (001)
Anyone heard of this "AML Technology" company? The results do seem to be alright, but of course longevity and other such things are in question here, and can't easily be tested! Still, I am in awe that such cheap media can give such results, when I saw the link purple/pink bottom I was afraid that the stuff would be unusable. I have not checked its compatibility with DVD copying and DVD players though. Any thoughts or comments?
