Every ounce matters when you're lugging a laptop, so LapWorks has created a slimmer, lighter portable laptop desk. Weighing 14.6 ounces, the Laptop Desk UltraLite weighs 2 ounces less than its predecessor and, at 5/16ths of an inch, is half as thick. When unfolded, the tray provides a 22-inch-by-11-inch workspace — enough to hold a laptop, papers and a few office tools. Ventilation channels help keep the laptop cool. The desk, which costs $20, can be folded to tuck in a briefcase.
