That seems to be the wisdom I've been receiving - that the Prassi engine is a problem for Nero 6, more so than any of the Roxio remnants - though it can return a significant "gripe list" of other products drivers, and still work fine.

A lot of CD-R software does not play nicely together, especially with conflicts in how they sieze control of auto-insert notification - may be more problematic in Win9x/ME, as I believe XP actually has a proper API for it.

Actually, in 9x/ME, it's often a case of VXD problems, while XP gets upperfilter and lowerfilter issues.

It takes courage to run more than one CD-R program, as coexisting peacefully with the opposition does not seem to be one of their priorities.

There is a long story between Traxdata France and Traxdata Europe, different companies, and TraxData Europe fights against Traxdata Europe cause they sell products under the name TraxData...

I had a chance to play with this nice recording app, and I must say I really like it. Rock-solid, takes no resources, small in size, very reliable (what else to expect from Prassi). I might as well buy it (only 15 Euro) and dump my other recording-software.
