College students want to work at Microsoft or Boeing more than other companies, according to a survey released last week by Universum Communications, a Philadelphia-based research company.
In a survey of 14,000 undergraduates, Microsoft emerged as the top choice as employer. Boeing was the most popular for engineering and science students. McKinsey & Co. was the top choice of the 4,000 MBA students surveyed.

If the survey is an accurate reflection of student sentiment, Microsoft and Boeing — which both plan to hire thousands in the next year — could get the cream of the student crop.
