Is there anybody there who can suggest and point me out to links where I can find these kind of adapters ?
I know they exist becouse I saw them on the Net, but I've not been able to find them again...

They are like those adapters used for floppy disks inside combo CD/Floppy drives on Laptops...

Why don't you use your Writer to read and Rip the CD's then you wont need a adaptor [?]

Well, I personally can do it becouse I own a burner with draw but the "original" user ( I quoted his request in my first posting ) unfortunately does NOT own a burner or another drive...
He needs an adaptor becouse he wants to query the CDDB and download data for that Bjork title...
