There was no specific information about Intel's AWESOME

product that would be that good to shake ATI's shares...
As far as I could tell..it was only about speculations..nothing more..
I did a little research...and found this article that tells a bit more about that...
In a note downgrading ATI to hold from buy, Wedbush analyst David Wu predicted that the severe pricing actions by Intel and the price war in mainstream discrete desktop chips "that was so devastating to Nvidia will also have a measurable impact on ATI's fiscal fourth quarter." He cut his earnings estimate for ATI's fourth quarter to 18 cents from 25 cents (compared to a consensus estimate of 21 cents). Wedbush hasn't done banking for ATI. READ MORE HERE... So its about the price war I guess...maybe Intel is lowering the prices...but still...dont know which Intel's product could compete with ATI!? I mean..Intel has some of their own Graphic chipsets..but..none is THAT EXTRA GOOD!
I'll just stick with ATI for some time...but got to admit that NVIDIA's new GEFORCE 6800ULTRA is really a nice toy to have.
We'll see how ATI's reply will look like...
