Folks,

After submitting a bug report to Nero recently, yesterday they confirmed my findings and are currently working on a new version to fix the problem.

Recently when burning DVD+R Dual layer media in all four of my DL burners I found many (all?) readers would freeze at the layer change point. I also found that if scanning these discs with PIE/PIF software they would also refuse to go past the layer change points, and some drive gave off a continuous click sound at this point.

The version of nero was 6.3.1.17 and I do not know if other versions have the same issue.

Nero will inform me when a fix or workaround is released.
