Still looking for 24X CDRW's, has anyone gotten any? I was told Yamaha had them, and for a while they were listed on their site, but now it seems I was unable to find anything rated over 10X. Also Verbatim has had them on their site for quite some time, but they are always listed as NOT in stock.

Just curious.

I havn't seen any 24x, ANYWHERE The only thing I know is that you can get them in Japan and Taiwan (retail), but not in North America or Europe (that *I'VE* seen).

If you are in America, this place claim that they are in stock:

http://www.dartek.com/ItemDetails/index.cfm?ItemNo=14170

The Verbatim 24x CDRWs are selling at a rapid rate, because of the lack there of. I ordered 5 Verbatim 24x CDRW 1 packs at provantage.com and received them. Unfortunately, provantage.com is even backordered now.

I would keep an eye on this link for availability:

http://www.provantage.com/scripts/go.dll/-s/fp_45908

Thanks,

AC

Yamaha does have them. They are not listed on the website, you'll have to email customer support and ask for them. I purchased 20 of them from Yamaha USA very recently. They are the same discs that came with the CRW-F1.

Sent email to Yamaha and they answered that there are no 24X cdrw's available yet, and that they may carry them eventually, but to keep an eye out on the web site.

Does anyone know if Prodisc makes 24x CD-RWs yet? I know they will, but I don't know if they're ready.
