So I guess there is no way of telling which Memorex Cool CD-Rs are which. That kinda sucks! Unless Memorex stopped using CMCs recently, and only the older stock is CMC [?]

Yuk I hate to buy Memorex at all, because they are so CMC ridden. I've inadvertantely purchased two packs of their CMC disks (one was the "cool colors" Mini-CDR).

Is Ritek a Tawineese brand? Or Japan...

It'd be a whole lot easier if CMC was the only one manufactured in Tawain. It'd be so easy to filter them out.

Well I actually have some new information, tonight I tested a new back of 25 pack memorex cool color cd-r's and it was actually manufactured by Prodisc! Short strategy dye PHythal....cant spell it right now but you know what i mean, anyways dont know the significance of this, the manufacturer of these discs seems to fluctuate but one thing remains the same - the dye type - which is a positive because Phythalo..blah blahd is supposed to be the best longevity wise right? either way I must say that to this day I havent had one error but that could be more because of my external burner ) which is new and I think good) anyways do what you will with this info...and one thing, these cool color cd-rs are not cheap, they jack the price up cuz the difft colors is a novelty perhaps, but it also seems as though the quality is better as well. Anyways take care everybody!
