My acer 16x10A(GJ) and TEAC 524E could only choose 4X and upper in
nero and EAC.How can I let them burn with the lower speed such as
2X、1X?

I think that your drive will not allow you to go any slower... Why do you want to go slower than that anyways? You should have no trouble with higher speeds..... Also, I deleted your other post asking the same thing. No need to post twice.... Thanks....

Sorry for bothering...

I prefer the lower speed,because on hearing those backups
of the same CD,I and my freinds found the lower the burning
speed,the better the sound quality of backups.So I want to
know if there is any way to make it,by editting the burning
program or the firmware of the writer....

I might be wrong because I have never tried to lower the speed, I am always working to go the other way...LOL... but I think you are stuck with 4x as your slowest speed.
