What the heck are they doing???

Why switch codes, and why use a Fuji code... and howcome the M02 is a Ritek code, and the M03 is a Fuji code.... GRR, why can't Ritek make some sense?!?!

I hope that the new RITEK media would be better than previous, i don't care about ID codes, just media quality!

Agreed... but still, all this change is very odd. Ritek's G04 media was some of the best 4x -R media out there, until they dropped the ball and started producing crap. Wouldn't it be easier to just tighten the quality control then make a whole new dye formula?? especially since 4x DVD-Rs are just about ready to stop being produced by most manufacturers I think. I can already get Prodisc or Optodisc 8x media for about the same price as Ritek 4x media!
