Hi,
Does anybody know where I can purchase recovery CDs for the Sony PCG-C1MRX series? I need on really badly...

Good luck with that. As they typically have Windows on them, you'll have a hard time finding one. Your best bet is to go back to the place you purchased it and see if they can get one for you. I don't think Sony can sell them as it would be some kind of copyright infringement. You would also probably have to prove you own that particular computer somehow.
