Hopefully someone could bring me up to speed. I haven't looked at DVDR's in years because when they first came out they couldn't hold enough data and couldn't copy a full DVD. I do realize that DVD's come with macrovision and other techniques for preventing backups. Have they created DVDR's than can make a real copy of a DVD yet? I'm not speaking of a compressed version but a full version with full sound? What is the maximum data a DVD recorder can backup at this point?
