In what sense do you mean "better" ?? Do you mean are the error rates reported as lower? or do you mean are the results more accurate?
So far from what I've seen, the faster you test the media, the lower the error rate gets... which leads me to believe that testing at 1x is more accurate... however, this is just a hypothesis on my part.
As we are seeing here, the readablility, and therefore the quality reporting, of media on LiteON drives, does not always have *anything* to do with the media's performance in real world settings, such as regular DVD players. This is why I have not yet added a DVD review section to my webpage (among other reasons, the biggest being lack of time!).
