does anyone know how to convert 20 fps to 25 as some of the films that i have cannot b watched on the dvd player properly as there is frame loss.

Try using Adobe Premiere 6.0

It can change your 20 fps to 25, 29.97, 30 or other on your desire.

I can help,

Go to project settings and select the frame rate as 25 fps. Then change the frame rate also at the video options tab. now when you import (from file menu) and then drag it to the time line, it will automatically convert any movie to 25 fps. The go to file and then export to save your work to an avi.

To save to an mpg you have to download ezcleaner 5 codec for premier 6.0 .

any ways dvtools is a good utility too.

both the softwares are good, So pick one.

had a look at dvtool.

i may be a bit dense dut i dont know how to import a video file to it to convert it.

i tried adobe but i am still getting frame loss.

i tried to do what u said but i wasn't sure where the video options were so i right clicked the video and done it there.

also what do i need to export it as clip or timeline?

go to windows options and open timeline and drag the vedeo there, now once u have dragged it , go to file menu and click on export timeline

Choose the settings u wish to give to ur avi and it will be exported
