    Hey
You Say " Just kidding, well I am 16, My real name is Harsh, I am From Mumbai, India. But i consider my self the cd writing king, atleast amongst the people of my age group."

That dosen't say much for the 16 year olds in your Region then does it. I would like to bet that you are the only 16 year old in your Region that explains it all !!!

You Say "I will not write with my caps lock on anymore "
What would be really nice if your Dad took the keybord off you untill you learn how to us it properly and learn all about CD Writing before you made Post's !!!

Notice I put in the [EDIT], then it says edited by me...

Sorry people, I did'nt know u people would be so pissed of with my CAPS. I will not do that again.

Any ways going back to the topic (Which is about burners wearing out and not smoking), I had a samsung CD Writer with me which got unconditionally spoilt just after 6 months of purchase. I hardly used it as I didnt know how to write CDs. Does isolating the burner causes it to stop working???

    Help!!!

Hehe, my Plextor PX-241040A I've had for over a year and I'll say I've burned around 1,000 cd's or so with it. It's still going strong :)
