Hi! When I play an Audio CD I get this cracking sound...sounds like an old vinyl record. I have had this problem for a while now and have tried diffrent ways to solv it but with no luck. So if you have an idea please help me. Both drives have DMA enabled, and I have enabled "Digital CD audio" in the device manager for both the CD and DVD. I've even tried to disable DMA and use PIO mode thinking it had something to do with a memory access violation?? I've tried diffrent drivers for my audio card with no luck. So if you have an idea please let me know. My System: Shuttle spacewalker SDVD101 DVD (firmware 42) Sony CRX100 CD-RW (firmware 1.0n) Diamond MX-300 (soundcard) (driver ver. 5.12.1.2559) Abit BX-R2 (bios ver. QR) Windows 2000 (Service pack 2) /Bingo
