I just read on http://www.yamahamultimedia.com that the T@2 stuff it only writes in the parts of the disc that are left blank after you have finished. Thats a bugger. I only write discs whan I have 600+ meg of data, basically when I can fill a CD.

So im starting to go off the drive..

As cheap as CDR's are, it won't matter to me how much I get on one, it will be great to put the graphics/and or contents on the disc, no need for messy, sticky labels that come off anyway when they get hot. I can't wait to get one!

-Peace-

Yhanks John. If it can handle this, then it's indeed the ultimate burner.

Even if it can't handle this with Hardware I think it still will be the Ultimate Burner with Clone CD

Shouldn't the tests of previous few versions of SD2 should be done also, since some would like to backup there old and new games.

This is a picture of [one of the] external versions. Doesnt look like an IDE model in an external case!

Something that confuses me is why are they only making an external SCSi drive.. Not internal?

All the external cases for the CRW-F1 look the same from the front! They have not said that they are NOT making an Internal SCSI they have just said they ARE making an External ! But you will have to wait to see if the IDE to SCSI Adaptor for the 3200 and the 2200 will work on the CRW-F1 and I am sure you will hear of it first here!

Hm... John, can you move my thread on General board here? I was not aware there was this Yamaha board though I must have seen this many many times. :)
