A friend of mine has this CD-RW came with his computer has no branding and this is the info from Nero:

ATAPI CD-R/RW 12X8X32
Firmware Revision: 9.CC
Buffer underrun protection: Seamless Link

What company uses Seamless Link again, and produce a drive with a 12X8X32? I thought it was an OEM Ricoh but 12X8 = not Ricoh.

He is getting coasters when he burns with FantomCD, so just trying to find out what brand/model is it so we can check if FantomCd supports it.

The CD/RW page in "Latest minute firmware", the only thing 9.cc tallies with is an ACER CRW1208A

And there's THREE versions of those (the .xC seems to be the latest)
PS. Acer are now BENQ
