I have Aopen1232Pro(BurnProof). I make some copies of my fav VCD using CloneCD and Nero. Both burned fine without problems, but when playing the VCD. Some frames are "lagging" or in other word, slow down. I notice this more especially on certain VCD that I burned while doing a lot of works (editing photos in photoshop + listen to mp3) while burning.

I thought I do not need to worry about buffer underun problem with this drive. Although it never create a coaster, but I still experience a lot of "lagging". Why is it so? Is burn-proof tech apply to VCD as well?

I would suggest that you try a slower write speed. See if that resolves your problem.
