Hi, I'm new here. I post in this forum insofar as I have some writing problems with Nero since sometimes and I don't know if the problems really come from Nero or if it is my writer or my system which turns crazy.
So, I put here a log file from Nero of one among my frequent failed writings :

Sorry for the delayed response.

It does not look good. Based on the Nero Log file, it has problems writing to the Program Memory Area (PMA)on the CD.

Be sure you have the latest Nero 5.5.7.2, though this will not resolve your issue, and the latest firmware for your model recorder. (This could have a great deal of affect)

First suspect would always be Media. If you have not already, try another brand, other than the Ritek you were using. IF this occurs with two other brands of CDR Media, you can rule media out as the source.

Second, download another mastering software program such as CDRWIN.EXE Demo at www.goldenhawk.com or DiscJuggler from www.padus.com or NTI's CD Maker Pro. If any or all of these show the same or similar symptoms, then you can rule the software out as a possible cause.

Last, is the Recorder. Send it in for service.

Regards,

Craig

Hello, thanks for your answer.
In fact, I try some others brands but I think they all were manufactured by Rytek, so it don't help so much. :(
I will try to use another mastering software as soon as I have something to write.

(I'm fed up with losing cdr...)

P.S. : I try the Nero version 5.5.7.2 and it gives me the same error ; I also write to techsupport4@nero.com and they send me the file "mmc.dll" version 5.5.4.0...

There can be only one.
