(1st of all thx to those ho reply to my 1st email)
The overburn works out fine now.

But....

I am using Nero 5.5.6.4. The 'simulation' feature of Nero is permanently and cannot be selected.

This feature/option works for CloneCd and CDRWin. I want to find out why doesn't it work with Nero??

And 2nd to find a solution, if possible.

NB. My OS is Win Me, the CD-RW is configd. as IDE2 slave.

What I found with nero to get simulation to work you have to shut off smart-burn but then you can only burn at 16x. I burn all cdrs at 24x with no coasters except 99min cdrs. So I've never neeed it.
Happy Burning
