I was trying to burn some mp3s on a 80 min cdr and it gave me the following error:

"CD-Writer+ 8100 Could not perform start of Disc At Once"

Can anyone please help with the resolution to this error...

I think HP8100 doesn't support DAO

I think it does! I was looking at the properties of the writer, overburning isn't supported.

Is there a way that I can set Nero to allow overburning. I used Easy CD Creator 4.5 and it worked on 80 min CD-Rs.

It's pretty strange that I'm having problems with Nero...

You can enable Overburning in Nero in the below fashion.

But if you go to Nero's CDRECORDER>CHOOSE RECORDER and it indicates that the drive does not support Overburning, then making these changes will not help any. Sorry.

To Enable OverBurnning for Nero:

You must enable overburning in Nero's File>Preferences>Expert Feature

and set too:

for 80min media set to - 82:00
for 90min media set to - 89:30
for 99min media set to - 99:54:74
