Should only need to launch Nero, and go to Nero's FILE>BURN IMAGE option to select the .ISO and then burn to CDR media.

Craig

Thanks for the help... I was gonna try that, but Nero did not seem to recognize the .iso extension, so I figured I was wrong.

Start nero, file, burn image, then change the file type to all files, then choose the iso file to burn.

I've followed this thread and the advice given for burning an '.iso' image file.
Unfortunately, after burning the CD-R, it's unreadable in Win2K. The OS insists that there is no CD in the drive but Nero correctly identifies that there is data on the CD.
On a Win98 machine, the CD works fine.
Have I missed something in the burn?

i gotta tell you that ezcd cremator will also burn isos fine but imho the very best for this is discjuggler. just choose cd image to cd recorder and iso is the default file type. click once more and it is sweet.

hi ekri! if the file won't execute then it was probably renamed for repackaging purposes. just rename it without the .exe on the end and try to burn it.

ekri, if i get what you're saying and the file is an iso in the folder then the software is probably reporting the name of the file inside the iso. try burning it anyway and see what happens. it may be some kind of self-extracting archive that includes all of the files. it's only a blank cd so it's worth a try. sometimes things like that are done to gain maximum compression.

good luck!
