Just wanted to know if anyone knows if PLEXTOR is still going to manufacture SCSI drives

Yes, they have said that the demand for scsi devices have gone way down since they started to incorporate Burn-Proof into their IDE drives. SCSI devices are very expensive. With that expense and the demand way down, 12x scsi was to be the last SCSI model. From what I've heard.

I don't know if I trust that quote. There's no hard proof evidence that Plextor actually said that. I emailed Plextor sales about it. Here is the email:
