Q: Can I use "printable" dvd-media for a lightscribe dvd-burner or do I must have the special "lightscribe" dvd,s to get text/sign on them?

The printable media are much cheaper here i Scandinavia than the lightscribe...

If you have a LightScribe drive, LightScribe media is required.  To me, the media is pricy and it takes roughly 30 minutes to burn a quality label on LS Media... My Sharpie costs about $1.47 here in the U.S. and works great for my needs.

Sure the output looks great on the disc from a LS drive, but it's not worth the time or extra money for that matter.
