mybe its to late but i have big problem for me.
i have 10000 peaces CD RW media "<u>World Cup 2002 84 min 650MB 1x-4x</u>" writting on it.
But the nero 6 w up to date upgraded read "sony audio 74min ."
When burnning w nero it seem no prob it sayz "burning process sucse..." but the verifiying begin and goes to failed w the mess "verifiying faild
i used LG 8481b v1,05..

i need help please

Looks like the Rewrite speeds are 4, 10, 12, 16, 24



4x can be the top speed of 1-4x media, or the lowest speed of 4-10x media, and the calibrations are VERY different.

Where a drive does not support 2x for CD-RW, it generally does not support old-style 1-4x media either, even at 4x.

Later HS-RW (10x/12x) drives tend not to like 1-4x media, even if the do manage to write it.

If you have acquired a large stock, I'd suggest ebaying it in suitably sized bundles, for people with older drives that can't take HS media.

on this CD-RW media wrote "word cup 2002 for 1x-4x high speed writer !!!" but inside the nero sw says sony produced auido 74 min 650 md rewritable media"
