Is TEAC so much poorer? Its really annoying...How to change from 750 to 755. I have the 750 to long to give it back

and the 755 has no RAM mode...

is the "benq" supporting  +R DL and  - R DL ?

Excellent news.... that's a shame that the drive you mention ONLY does it with NEW DVDRW media.

with nero CD-DVD speed:
I can only change the "Laufwerkseinstellung" (german),(drivesetting), (above)
but not the "Diskeinstellungen" (discsetting), (below)

and I would say: changing the booktype is only important when you burn a disk, so it is important to change it with "nero" and not with "CD speed"

Changing it with CDSpeed "would" work because it would stay this way until the disc is burned.

Why German?  Are you German/speak German?  You can get the latest version at CDSpeed2000.com

Notice that "Disc Type" and "Book Type" are different, I have inserted a new DVD+R disc, went to "Setting" and changed it to DVDROM and then pressed "Set"

Now the booktype is changed to DVDROM and I am ready to burn this disc.

I hope this clear things up for you.  If you can accomplish the above with your writer, then you should be successfully changing the booktype.

thank you MP3mogul, but I can't understand the different between both? Why you can not change "disk setting". I can't see your comments....

And why my "Disk Settings" are always grey (current disk type) ???????????

Should I make the japanese update to 1.0.2 ? Is it dangerous?
