I have a new DVD Goodfellas and the disc has two sides and the movie is broken into two parts. Is there a way that I can rip both sides and put both parts onto one disc then compress?

I would suggest DVD Shrink or even DVD2One. In both cases better remove the menus, extras and audio you don't need in order to have better quality, if you want to fit them on a single layer disc and compression is necessary.

I would suggest DVD Shrink as well.

Can I preserve the menus with either DVD2One or DVD Shrink because I may burn the movie to a DL disc?

I’m not sure how to use DVD Shrink and still maintain functional menus so any instructions would be appreciated.  I’m not familiar with using DVD2One so I’ll probable stick to using DVD Shrink.
