Digital design communication solutions supplier, Actify, has announced a call for entries for its third annual 3D modelling competition where contestants will be judged on their best use of Actify’s SpinFire Professional product line for 3D modelling.

Categories include: best overall part; best overall assembly; best use of .3D WorkSpace; best automotive part or assembly; best aerospace part or assembly; and best industrial automation/heavy industrial part or assembly.

Randy Ochs, president and CEO of Actify, said: “As in previous years, models will be judged based on originally, creativity and real-world applicability across several vertical market segments.”

The competition will close at midnight on January 31 2006.
