hi, i'm a newbie, and I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.  I've already recorded 4 DVD's using DVD shrink and Nero, and they came out fine.  Now, I'm trying to record something that is not encrypted (according to DVD shrink) and takes up less than 3 gb, but when I play the DVD there is no sound.  I've done this twice now and I'm not sure what to do.  Please help.

Did you remove any audio with DVD Shrink? If you have for example only the DTS then your DVD player must be connected with the AV receiver from the digital output, optical or coaxial, in order you have sound.

describe us the exact procedure, the DVD was made from a DV source?

i figured it out.  thanks Antonio...your post helped point me in the right direction.  i didn't remove any audio with DVD shrink, but when i went to burn it using Nero, it automatically unchecked the box for the main audio file.  once i checked that box, it burned a good copy with sound. 

the only minor thing is i burned 5 DVDs and 4 turned out perfect.  for one DVD, once i checked that audio file, i didn't have the option to burn it using Advanced analysis, i could only choose the Burn-at-once option.  That was the least importance DVD, so i'm OK with, but it's weird that it didn't happen with the other 4 dvds.

1 out of 5 burns is something that might happen. Maybe the specific disc had a problem.
