I defined paper stock for a jewel case inlay, Neato 2-up. The first inlay on a sheet prints fine. The second one, at the bottom of the sheet, won't print completely--it should be 143.9mm wide by 117.2mm high, but it prints a TINY piece of the left upper corner of the inlay, 10mm W x 66mm H.

I've checked and rechecked my paper stock, inlay, spine, x/y measurements several times. I have: deleted the whole document and started a new one, with same result; deleted my defined stock and redone it twice; done clean uninstall of Nero (5.5.10.54), reinstalled it; clean uninstalled again and installed the only prior version I had (5.5.10.28); clean uninstalled again, redownloaded and installed 5.5.10.54, but still that second inlay on the sheet won't print.

I thought since it will print the first one on the sheet that I could trick it by making it think the second one IS the first one--since the second one is 33.2mm from the bottom of the sheet, and the first one is 23.0mm from the top of the sheet, I used the 33.2 for X and then turned the sheet around so that it fed bottom first instead of top first. Now it prints the same 66mm width, from the left margin, by 100mm height!!

The top/left section it does print lines up perfectly with the Neato inlay.

There is nothing I can see to explain this odd behavior. The booklet and CD label print OK. Has anyone else experienced something like this? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Perhaps a prior version of Nero 5.5 is needed--where can I find one? BTW my Nero Cover Designer version is 2.2.1.11, if it makes any difference.

Thanks for your help.

Do you have this problem with the Pre-Defined Neato Paper stocks?

I attempted this myself with a Paper Stock I created, but I could not duplicate your experience. Using the same version of Nero and CoverDesigner.

Regards,

Craig

Thanks for your response, Craig. Now that you mention it, yes I did have the same problem with the pre-defined Neato inlay stock (but no problem with Neato booklet or cd label). That's why I made a user-defined Neato inlay. The only other stock I had printed the second inlay (i.e., 2nd of the 2-up on a sheet) on successfully was CD Stomper. There are not many stocks available with the same inlay 2-up letter size sheet config, but just now I tested 1 other letter size and 2 A4 sizes that printed the second inlay fully. It just doesn't make any sense to me that the Neato inlay won't work and the other parts do. I can't see the connection between a problem in a pre-defined stock and one I KNOW is defined correctly. Me thinks the software is possessed!
