Flipped from main page Software updates - and something tried to give me GATOR scumware - I think it was "Precision Time".

Gator have started trying to deny they are spyware - this sort of behaviour shows they are FAR, FAR WORSE!

Yes Gator is "spyware", always has been, ALWAYS will be... They are SCUM

Could you please send us the IP of the ad? We need it in order to see which advertising company sends it and stop it. You r cooperation is crucial for us in order to solve the problem...

Please report ASAP any such ad you might encounter.
Please do the following in order to help us locate the advertiser accountable for this inapropriate action.

1. IP address, domain name, and what other info is being presented to you by your firewall/antivirus program.

2. Please save a copy of the page as html and if possible submit it as well.

Well, I did the same actions (and having now declared *.gator.com to be forbidden in my firewall) - no alert this time - I'll keep an eye out.

We isolated one case.
But still some others get in.
In particular this one too:

If this is also malicius we will try to make our advertisers remove it asap. Can anyone confirtm it?

If you have a look at the link I have given above you will see that loads of people have problems getting rid of it once it is installed I can't confirm this as I won't let it through my Firewall for obvious reasons!!!

yeah, I see it pop up, but my hardware firwalled router will not let them through as well. It is evident at one time or another, an advertiser will be able to sneak them in, but for the most part, everything that I have seen is clean.
