i have heard that 'made in japan' cd-rs are the best. i just came across the mitsubishi multi-speed cd-rs that are advertised as 'golden phthalo cyanine discs'.

can someone tell me something more about them. like your personla experience, or mitsubishi in general. i know i am vague, but i don't have much tech knowledge about cd media.

In general "multispeed" without any further qualification usually indicates older media, typically 1-12x

Current media usually proclaims a maximum 40, 48, 52 etc.
