It's a common assumption that girls can't play games, just like they can't have reasoned arguments, handle alcohol or drive a car without terrifying male passengers. Well, one all-female Xbox clan is hoping to change a few minds in the next few months about one or more of these common modern myths.
PMS will be touring some of the country's largest Gamestation stores to challenge all comers, educate the land about ladies on Live, and hopefully recruit a few new members along the way. If you fancy a thorough beating on Halo 2, a humiliating rush-down over Rainbow Six, or a gravel-eating defeat on Project Gotham 2 then the girls will be accepting challengers from each town they will be visiting in the next few months. There are prizes to be won at each venue, including T-shirts and games, but the real reward will be the chance to meet these lovely girl-gamers in person.
PMS will be playing Gamestation stores in the following locations:
Newcastle - 2 July
Birmingham, New St - 9 July
Leeds, Crossgates - 16 July
Edinburgh, Princes St - 23 July
Glasgow , Sauchiehall St - 30 July
Newport, South Wales - 6 August
Stockport - 13 August
Liverpool, Lord St - 20 August
Southampton - 27 August
London, Camden - 3 September
Also, check out next month's XBM to see how the girls fared against the XBM boys on Halo 2. It wasn't pretty, even if the contestants were...
