Tritton hints its SEE2 - the industry's first USB 2.0 to SVGA adapter - is going to be Mac mini-compatible beginning July 5th. That means when the SEE2 for Mac mini releases, it will be the only option of extending or mirroring desktop area to another monitor. That is unless someone makes one with FireWire 400.

In related news, the bus-powered USB to SVGA adapter has just been upgraded to support 1280x1024 for both 32-bit and 16-bit colors. Previously, it just topped at 800x600 32-bit. And with this USB video solution, you can add up to three monitors without saturating the USB 2.0 bandwidth. There could be issues with lags caused by USB as DirectX still isn't supported yet. Currently, the SEE2 retails for $74 and supports Windows 2000/XP.
