Impressive! Gates  gets into gaming seriously. The marketing campaign for this device has been strong, and is expected to be bigger in the following months. The last 3 weeks internet sources were advertising the upcoming XBox 360 first demonstration on MTV, and we should expect more in the E3 Expo. Rival Sony has already  succeded with the PSP, but I am not sure it will be the same with the upcoming PS3.

..No word for High Density (Blu-Ray?) playback support.. Should we expect any additions to these specifications soon?

nice info Ionian.

my comments: 3 dual-core processor and only 1MB L2 cache??? this means that the new Xbox will be pretty unstable. cracking this **** will be much easier that the first xbox.

how many of you do have a HD-TV? cause only those with HDTV, and only in some occasions, will need that kind of power. The way i see it, there is too much power in that game machine that is there only to show the power of microsoft over sony. Just imaging a price of a machine that has 3 dual core processors. If it's not more than 700euros, i will by one, break the thing down, sell the two processor for 700 each, and keep the third for myself!

the old-classic dreamcast, that is only selling in china and canada for now, was made back in 1996 (i think), and it could produce graphics equal to the PSP1. So, history repeats itself

lets wait to see how the games will look like and if the new Xbox would be able to modded as easily as the first XBox generation...as we all know, consoles that weren't able to play backups didn't survived...
