You need to reinstall, you are missing a .dll file: NeAcEnc.dll

As MP3Mogul has said I suggest you Reinstall it won't hurt but it may do some good !!!

Just did like i was told. Put on Vision Express 2 from disk. No AC3 support there. Then Upgrade to newest 0.11 pack. Still same message !

I have to admit, I am not an expert. Maybe it helps, if I describe, what I wanna do: Convert some AVI to burnable DVD Files using Nero Vision Express. Have tried different AVI's, with xVid MPEG4 Codec or DivX 5.03. Audio has always been MP3. In all of these cases i got one of the 2 above mentioned error messages.

So, does the use of plugins help ?

Which one do I need an why ? (Like to understand what I am doing)

I solved the problem thanx to Delphinius Rex. Using the Nero Cleab Tool looks like a good idea to me !

Well, it just worked one, now I have the problem again, still help needed....

If the Clean tool worked for you... Run it again. After you run it again. Then run REGEDIT and do a search for EVERYTHING Nero and Ahead, as the clean tool DOES NOT remove quite everything. Trust me, I found this out from experience.

Does Vision Express work ok for you guys, in case you are using it ?

At the moment it looks to me as either it doesn't like the xVid Codec or the 'custom' bitrate setting.

I'll try the other stuff as well...[^]

Well, my first attempt it failed with an error code like you got, it said I was missing NeAcEnc.dll, however a quick search revealed that I did have it, seems the installation program doesn't install it into the nero/shared dll folder... go figure... I moved it to that directory then I washed my computer, rebooted, and it worked okay.... it's okay I guess??? I'll try it at different times and see what kind of result I get.

I the folder really named 'shared-dll' ? Can not find it here ?

And what do you mean by 'wash your PC' ?
