i converted avi to dvd using nero vision express but i dont know how to add the subtitle from my divx movie to the dvd media so i can watch the film with subtitle on my dvd player,, on my TV. Can i add subtitle using NeroVExpress? If no can somene suggest a better software with adding subtitle option ????

still cant do it. Can you explain a little more. I have tmpgenc dvd source creator and author,,, dvd lab,, nero vision express. its all confusing. Some other sugestions??

i think that you need the DVD subtitle tool... get it here:

then use IfoEdit to insert the subtitle in the .ifo files of the DVD... I 've done it some time ago, but i'll try to do this again this weekend to give you more detailed info... One thing is for sure, you will surely need both these programs (IfoEdit and DVD subtitle tool)

Dear eleejar,

Could you please post your steps on how to add subtitle onto existing DVD's Video_TS.

I too, is transfering DV to DVD and would like to add the date/time code as subtitle but not sure on exactly how to do it.

I have extract the time code using DV_Datecode software and also created the subtitle file with extension .sup. However, I am at a lost of the next step, which is how to use ifoedit to add the title file to DVD.

Please help.

You may also try SubToSup or Srt2Sup to convert your subtitle to sup format
Then later you still need to use InfoEdit tool
