Anyone know of the top sellers for blank discs? I spend hours trawling through the web looking for the best deals for DVD-R in the UK and can't decide which dealer gives the most trustworthy service. I take heed of the warnings about not buying fake discs but how do I know which sellers have the fakes and which the genuine article? They ALL say that their stuff is the real deal.

Any of you guys out there have any recommendations or warnings about the dealers on the web, please? Who do I give my hard-earned dosh to and who should I avoid like the plague? I need to order some blanks soon as my spindle is dwindling.

Thanks.

Thanks, Buster, I'll go to their website and check out their prices. I did see some Ritek purple, that were supposed to be branded, on the Budget Computer site but I couldn't see any brand on the photo so perhaps I'll give them a ring in daylight hours. Meanwhile, I'll look at your recommendation.

Hi Topper,

Is that the Budget Computers shop in Glasgow? If so, I know for definate that if you go round the corner to World of Computers you'll get 100 Arita/Ritek 8x -R for £28.00 and 200x Pressit labels for £5.00 as I picked these up on Tuesday :)

Hi Brduk,

No, it wasn't the place in Glasgow. It was a place I found on the net (at least, I don't think they've got a shop in Glasgow.) I still haven't found a place that does really good deals. I'd like to buy Taiyo Yuden as I've read such good things about them but how do I know that the ones on offer are genuine? There're so many warnings about fakes that I hardly dare send off for any. Anyone else out there who can recommend a seller?

I've just started using an ebay shop called bestpricemedia, good range of products, prices and delivery o.k. Been buying ink off their sister site bestpriceink for a few months.
