About 18,000 pirated VCDs and DVDs were seized from a shop in Jalan Maju in Kampung Baru, Bukit Mertajam on Thursday night.
The RM150,000 seizure included 4,000 pornographic movies during the 8pm raid.
The raid was made by a 10-member team from the state Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry enforcement unit.
Its assistant director Norashikin Abdul Hamid, who led the raiding party, said two salesmen, aged 22 and 33, were detained at the shop and would be charged in court.
