Daemos -> Verbatim Value life plus? (3/14/2003 8:36:17 PM)

I'm looking to buy 100 more CD-Rs, and I saw a spindle of 50 Verbatium VAlue Life Pluses for 33 dollars, which is like 4 dolalrs more than memorex.

are these CDs any good?

I think there might something wrong here.
Valuelife/datalife is the budget range of Verbatim which isn't really good media except for the Pastel version which is made by TY.
Datalife PLUS is the excellent media of Verbatim however some Lite On.
However the new vinyl version is problematic on some burners.

Alright...so I'll stay away from those...

The only memorex I can get here now are prodisc...they used to be all TY discs...

How good are TDK discs?

I can get them at costco for 60 dollars for 120 CD-Rs.

the TDK 48x CD-Rs are quite good [:D]

They use the new Ritek 48x CD-Rs which have performed very well in my testing [;)]

But then again ther is also TDK 48x made by CMC here floating arround in Europe.

I'm pretty sure most of the North American 48x TDK media is Ritek. I didn't know about the CMC TDK media though...
