arficus -> who makes newest fujis? (2/24/2003 12:22:17 AM)

I'm used to getting TY made Fujis in the familiar screw-top cake box.
But I just saw some 48x Fujis at bestbuy ($9.99 for 100 after rebate), package says made in Japan, but NOT in the normal TY style cake box. Anyone know who made these? I'm scared they might just be mislabeled Taiwanese....

The new Fujifilm 80min CD-R's in the USA are Made in Japan by Taiyo Yuden. In Europe, they're Made in Germany by Fuji Photo Film.

...Sorry I forgot to mention, yes, the spindle packages look a little different from previous Taiyo Yuden packaging. This new packaging, without the spin-off nut, is now standard TY packaging.
